Larry Page or Google History

Larry Page is an American computer scientist and Internet entrepreneur. He is best known as co-founder of Google with Sergey Brin.

Page was born in East Lansing, Michigan, on March 26, 1973. He attended East Lansing High School, where he was a National Merit Scholar and a member of the debate team. He received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan in 1995.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Page went on to Stanford University, where he earned a master's degree in computer science in 1997. While at Stanford, Page and Brin developed a search algorithm that ranked websites based on their popularity. They called their algorithm "BackRub" and used it to create a new search engine called "Google."

Google was officially launched in 1998. The company quickly grew in popularity, and by 2004 it had become the most popular search engine in the world. In 2004, Page was named CEO of Google. He served in this role until 2015, when he stepped down to become CEO of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company.

Page is a visionary leader who has helped to shape the future of the Internet. He is also a strong advocate for open source software and innovation. In 2011, he was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.
